the XT2 due to its larger size. Really is faster than my "standard"
kettle heating same volume of water; about 30% faster just like they
said. Seems to stay warm longer too but have not measured that. Handle
stays cool to the touch but you probably need to leave it in the upright
position while heating as shown in the product picture. Durable and
solid enough for any camping use yet compact and lightweight. Like most
camping kettles of this size, a really steep and quick tilt of a full
kettle can overwhelm the spout and cause a spill. Common sense, go easy
and you remove any risk. Customer service is outstanding. Had a
really small issue with the one I received; got a prompt return email,
full replacement and followup to be sure I was satisfied. Will
definitely add to my Fire-Maple items.
